The Hootenanny at Jo Moore’s High Country Inn was delicious, friendly, and fun! The entertainers sang some oldies, some goodies, and some funnies – like “I don’t look good naked anymore” and “Yellow Rose of Texas”. Susie Larson sold the tickets for a gift basket full of moonshine and mirth, along with a lawn chair it sat in. “I can’t read,” she said, “which I know is ironic, being a fundraiser for the library and all…”
The barbecue meats were scrumptious, sides were perfect and the bread pudding topped it all off! Pies were auctioned at ridiculous prices (for a good cause) and some folks were even able to stuff in just one more bite to sample them at the table.
Thanks to everyone who prepared food, entertained and served, and the generous pockets of those who attended as well!
