Bidding Open for Gala Holiday Dinner

Bidding has opened to claim a six-course formal candlelight dinner to be held  sometime between December 1 and February 28, 2019 at the High Country Inn. A minimum bid of $350 has already been matched with a $400 bid, and those interested in winning this private dinner (value $800) has until Friday, November 9 at 5 pm to secure the highest offer.  This gala candlelight dinner, served in style with crystal and sterling flatware, will be prepared and served by Jo, Richard, and Cathy Moore in their beautiful inn,  with all proceeds benefiting the expansion project’s phase III of Orofino’ s library. Whoever makes the highest bid will be the winner of the dinner, and a date for the event can be set with  Jo Moore, proprietor of the inn  The menu for this gala dinner may be found in the accompanying ad in this week’s Clearwater Tribune..

Bids will be taken by calling CMPL ( Clearwater Memorial Public Library)  (208-476-3411) or going to the library on Michigan Avenue  between 9 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday. Each day the highest bid will be tallied, and the high bidder from the previous day will be called and given the opportunity to raise his/her bid.  The highest bid offered by 5 pm on Friday, November 9 will be proclaimed the winner. The date for the meal  can be set at a later date, but must be served by the end of February of 2019, unless other arrangements are made.

Place your bid with CMPL (the library) at 208-476-3411 (or visit library) Monday through Friday 9am – 5pm. Last day is Friday, November 9. Each day highest bidder will be tallied and call made to previous day’s high bidder.
Minimum bid for this week (October 10) is to be more than $400.
